BP Soft Company Limited ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Small Shop mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
Small Shop is designed as a local-first shop management tool. We do not operate a user account system, and we do not collect your business data on our own servers.
1. Summary
- Your shop data stays on your device unless you choose to back up or share it.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
- Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google, not by us directly.
2. Information You Enter in the App
To help you run your shop, the App lets you store business information locally on your device, such as:
- Shop profile details (for example: shop name, address, phone number, tax ID, logo, receipt footer text)
- Products, categories, prices, and product photos
- Sales orders and order history
- Customers and suppliers (for example: names, phone numbers, notes)
- Expenses and expense records
- Printer settings (for example: printer name and Bluetooth address)
- App preferences (for example: language, theme, dark mode)
This information is stored in a local database and app storage on your device. We do not automatically upload this data to BP Soft Company Limited servers.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or login credentials for the App
- Precise location data
- Contacts from your address book
- Usage analytics for advertising or profiling
- Health, biometric, or financial account credentials
4. Device Permissions
The App may request the following permissions only to provide specific features:
- Camera and Photos — to take or choose product images that you add to your catalog.
- Bluetooth — to connect to a paired thermal receipt printer.
- Nearby devices (Android) — to discover and connect to Bluetooth printers.
- Location (older Android versions only) — required by the Android system for Bluetooth device scanning on some devices. The App does not store your location.
- Files / Storage — to save or restore database backups and export reports when you choose to do so.
You can deny permissions, but related features may not work. You can change permissions anytime in your device settings.
5. Local Storage and App Settings
In addition to your shop database, the App may store small settings on your device (for example: theme, language, and premium subscription expiry status). This information is used only to operate the App on your device.
6. Backup, Export, and Sharing
The App provides optional backup and export features. If you create a backup or share a file (for example via cloud drive, email, or another app you select), that data is handled according to the service you choose. We do not control third-party apps or cloud providers you use for backup.
You are responsible for keeping your backup files secure.
7. In-App Purchases (Premium Subscription)
Small Shop offers an optional auto-renewable yearly Premium subscription
(product ID: premium_yearly).
- Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play.
- We do not receive your full payment card details.
- Apple or Google may provide us with subscription status information needed to unlock Premium features in the App.
- Subscription management, cancellation, and refunds are handled through your Apple or Google account according to their policies.

8. Third-Party Services
The App uses platform and device services (for example: Apple App Store, Google Play, Bluetooth, camera, and file sharing APIs) to provide its features. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We do not integrate advertising networks, social login providers, or third-party analytics platforms in the App.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
Your shop data remains on your device until you delete it. The App includes options to clear data (for example: clear expense data or clear all app data) from within Settings.
Uninstalling the App from your device will remove locally stored App data, unless copies exist in backups you created separately.
10. Security
Because your data is stored locally on your device, its security also depends on your device passcode, operating system security, and how you manage backup files. We recommend keeping your device updated and protecting backups you create.
11. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. International Users
The App can be used in different countries. Your information is stored on your device in the country where you use the device, unless you choose to move backup files elsewhere.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
